AMSOIL created the Preferred Customer and it doubled registrations as many people did not want to be "dealers" because this implied that they had to sell. The real difference is that Preferred Customers are not paid a commission.

See just what the industry you serve really knows about the products they use and how AMSOIL has a competitive edge to it's competition. Read experiences from fellow dealers (your own in many cases) from their own personal tests and uses. The Action News visits topics such as Government Opportunities, Retail and service centers, and environmental concerns. Yes, several city and county governments found AMSOIL to being the answer to saving tens of thousands. Read about success with dealer and corporate sponsored AMSOIL Racing teams. Understand the myths about equipment manufacturers warranties and why the use of AMSOIL, synthetics and extended changes cannot effect them. Find out how to market the product you have that virtually everyone you know will want. Also dealers are recognized monthly for their accomplishments.

Internet:
Do you work full time and spend most of your time in the office? Do you frequent automotive forums? Are you in a car, boat or motorcycle club where you discuss relevant subjects with your peers? This is where you will earn a permanent score of customers, preferred customers (order direct w/o maintenance), and dealers. Commercial Opportunities:
In my opinion the easiest way to expand and enjoy your business is through Commercial accounts you work yourself. Business are always trying to lower overhead costs and reduce the workload. Any opportunity a firm can avoid equipment replacement costs or down time due to maintenance and repairs, they will be much obliged.

Just about any business that uses lubricants, you have the solution for their problems. The industries are endless. Take for example a small lawn care business with a variety of 2-cycle equipment and several trucks. As a dealer you have the opportunity to extend the life of their vehicles by years, cut their vehicle maintenance costs and down time using extended intervals and/or bypass filtration not to mention the improvement in mileage, and about a 25% savings on 2-cycle oil.

Their lawn tools last several times longer thanks to the high lubricity of AMSOIL 2-cycle, and the low emissions of our products will eliminate the exhaust odors they have to work in.

AMSOIL is no stranger with industrial compressors in manufacturing plants. Retail Opportunities :
AMSOIL isn't all about dealers signing dealers and selling to individuals. The most common question I get from customers and at trade shows is, "Where can I find AMSOIL, Who sells it?"

Something every dealer can do is set up any retail or service center to carry AMSOIL products. Like the Commercial Account there is special pricing for them.

One example would be a motorcycle and watercraft shop. Most customers are shocked to see AMSOIL on the shelves. There are many successful dealers that have one or two quick lubes they supply AMSOIL does very well in these shops. I have had personal success with service centers that specialize in European vehicles.

I continue to sign up new dealers that want to join because they own a shop or have leads on those that do and want to carry AMSOIL. It's absolutely incredible!

The AMSOIL name is deeply penetrated in that market. This does take a lot of determination as you will conclude that many independent parts stores are really out of touch with their customers thinking ordinary paraffin based oils are all they need to carry. Many of them don't understand what is discussed here, what the customers are wanting, or what is discussed in automotive forums, so your work is cut out for you. But it is becoming easier as synthetics are taking a larger part of market share and those businesses that do not understand quality are going out of business.

In other situations you may stumble on a service center eager to carry the product the next day. It's not always easy but once they see how well the ATF (for example) works you might be delivering a 30 gallon drum each month. Again, we help you.

Business will come to you, and if you have no interest in these types of accounts chances are you will gain a dealer that knows all the ins and outs turning your $30 per year dealer into a gold mine. It costs nothing for a shop to have a open Retail or Commercial Account.

Catalog Income:
The baseline and simplest way to earn income with AMSOIL. About 1/4 of all AMSOIL customers order through retail catalogs given to them from dealers. When a order is made through these catalogs the dealer earns a retail profit and commission. It's that simple. Inside the catalog contains information for customers to start their own Preferred Customer account and save even more. When this happens you still earn a commission. AMSOIL sends that customer an updated catalog every 6-months. These are customers that keep ordering year after year.


Dealer Network:
This is where you end up building life-long income security. In recent months I have run into and signed up some great dealers. I have several dealers that just signed up relatives. Others have friends far out of state. It's endless and with some good effort you start seeing rows of names on your commission checks. You too will gain dealers with enormous determination.

Try out the $15 6-month dealership and set a goal of 2 or 3 dealers. I ended up with some great customers who lead me to dealers, which I still have today. With the help of the AMSOIL Magazine and tips from my sponsor, I had a $800 per month business working behind the scenes while I still worked for corporate America. I since then have sped up the pace, but at a normal part time pace with a little hard work there is no reason you can't grow to a $1500 monthly minimum, have fun and meet some great friends. Be sure to ask me about the commission credits and the percentages you make based on your dealers activity for each month.
